Week 26 - Block 2 - 26/3/2015

Thursday -
(--) Setting up a IT network - Submitted Assessment 10.2 then after that started with some practical with setting up networks and how to set up a shared folder on the network, then started on the merit for assessment 10.4 which is to be a leaflet.
(--) Website development - finished collecting all the evidence and moved on to the other parts of the assessment where I have to write a lot of reports      :( I hate reports
(--)Information and communication technology -Had to add some stuff to the assessment 2 for computer systems just had to add the cable types in the computer like the keyboard and mouse are USB while the Monitor uses VGA

Friday -
(--) Customising Software - Started the day finding out I had passed assessment 2 for computer systems then went on to do the security issues activity on section 11 on computer systems, Then Continued to work on the Distinction for Assessment 10.4
(--)Communication - Got the reading assessment from Steve James I have started the first question ut it has to be done in the class
(--) Computer systems - I completed everything that I had to do
(--) Tutorial - Updated Blogger for the week, now we all have the Easter holidays and we are not back in college till 23/04/2015

Duncan told me that I could get put through to HNC instead of doing BTEC level 3 next year  if I say on Friday, I think I will do the HNC but I do not know I will have to give my answer tomorrow on Friday.

Week 25 - Block 2 - 19/3/2015

Thursday -
(--) Setting up a IT network -Did some more work on the assessment 10.2 almost finished it, and learned that we would be doing 10.4 before doing 10.3
(--) Website development - started to collect the evidence for the assessment in website development because my webpage is complete
(--)Information and communication technology - got back results on the formative assessment 2 & 3, they were all good apart from one part but it was explained, so its fine, went on to use scratch and tried to make a game using it,
the game was bad but it did win Game of the year :) lies
 my game was better then Micks game, NOT LIES

Friday -
(--) Customising Software - did more of the assessment 2 I installed Skype and took pictures of it and then got all my pictures into a power point and added more writing to the written part of the assessment, finished it and submitted it before going to lunch
(--)Communication - waiting for all the interviews to be done then Steve James will get the reading part
(--) Computer systems - because I submitted the assessment 2, I moved on ad did two more activity's about computer networking ad submitted them both this was for Section 10 - computer networking
(--) Tutorial - Updated Blogger for the week

ASSESSMENT 2 (Computer Systems) (Submitted on the 20/3/15)

Week 24 - Block 2 - 12/03/2015

Thursday -
(--) Setting up a IT network - Started on Assessment 10.2 and submitted assessment 10.1 at the end of the day after adding some more things to the presentations

(--) Website development - continued on the website but adding more things to the DLC page and the other pages, and also started on the evidence check-list and edited a photo using fireworks

(--)Information and communication technology -Found out I passed the Customising software assessment and got the distinction for the assessment,

Friday -
(--) Customising Software - Started a new assessment for computer systems, I started on the merit and distinction parts because the pass marks are practical work and there were no computers free

(--)Communication - got some of the work for both assessments done in this class still have some parts to do

(--) Computer systems - continued with the assessment from this morning did part a of task 1 got a lot of pictures and printed off a test page

(--) Tutorial - Updated Blogger for the week

Week 23 - Block 2 - 05/03/2015

Thursday -
(--) Setting up a IT network - did a group presentation with Luke and Jake, submitted it to the Group work
(--) Website development - Continued on with the Website I have decided to add DLC as a new webpage to the site,
(--)Information and communication technology - Finished the Core Skills Booklet

Friday -
(--) Customising Software -Installed a Logitech Webcam and its drivers and tested it to see it was working.(It worked correctly) also installed a Printer
(--)Communication - Waiting on the INT2 Reading assessment(Was told it will be available after everyone else has had a chance to do the interviews to get the talking to INT2)
(--) Computer systems - submitted a health and safety while using ICT questionnaire
(--) Tutorial -Updated Blogger for the week
